Summary of the position:
- Provide HR coverage in the following functional areas: recruiting/staffing, review performance, compensation, benefits, onboarding, data reporting, talent management, employee relations, policy implementation, and employment law compliance.
- Partner and advise business leaders on people- and team-related issues, manage and execute all areas of the employee life cycle, provide reports & metrics on HR issues to the business executives.
Responsibilities:
- Work in partnership with stakeholders to deliver professional HR advisories, provide seamless HR support to its business as required and drive the implementation of HR practices and initiatives.
- Be a strategic advisor to the business on talent development matters including the identifying and grooming of hi-potential talent, talent succession, performance management and coaching managers through performance management conversations.
- Identify gaps in the existing processes proactively and drive continuous improvements to HR processes.
- Consult and advise management in the business planning process and provide input on organizational capability and the HR implications of business objectives so as to ensure HR strategies are aligned with business goals.
- Manage international mobility/assignments including simulating net-tax income, relocation matters.
- HR operational responsibilities include developing HR policies in line with local regulations, enforcing procedures, managing processes and systems as well as ensuring compliance on day-to-day handling of HR matters.
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle including on/off-boarding briefing, compensation and benefits, employee relations, exit management, etc.
- Manage employee relations and provide solutions to enhance staff engagement and company culture.
- Implementation of global, regional and local HR projects
- Responsible for any other duties as assigned.
Skills and experience required
- At least 6 years of relevant HR Generalist / Business Partnering experience within the financial services industry in Singapore.
- Someone who is able to deliver results efficiently as part of a team as well as independently when required.
- Strong communication skills and relationship management
- Strong knowledge of local labour legislation and practices of Singapore
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
