    Our client is an iconic fashion retail brand founded in the 1940s with operations globally around the world. Due to business expansion, they are looking for a talented HR Business Partner for their Learning and Development department. This role will spearhead regional retail training across Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam. This is a permanent role based in Singapore.

    about the job
    Reporting into the Regional Learning and Development Director, you will work closely within a collaborative HR team to spearhead training initiatives across your assigned markets. In addition, you will:

    • Develop short-term and long-term training strategies in line with the brand's global L&D direction and business goals
    • Identify and support in-country / in-store facilitators to delivery effective trainings and L&D initiatives
    • Work with department heads to identify training needs; developing and implementing appropriate curriculum and programmes
    • Support, coach and nurture leaders in driving learning mindset across all stores and departments
    • Plan the annual regional training calendar, monitoring KPIs, budgets and goals
    • Evaluate effectiveness of learning programmes, bridging capability gaps with external training solutions


    skills and experience required

    • Diploma in Training, Business Management, Human Resources or equivalent
    • Min. 8 years' experience in Training and/or Learning & Development
    • Experience within the retail / consumer industry is essential, experience in fashion will be an added advantage
    • Proven track record of leading retail training programmes; including product sales training, train-the-trainers and service training
    • Ability to communicate and faciliate effectively to employees of all levels
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Creative thinking, analytical and insights driven
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; including MS Powerpoint and MS Excel
