Under an innovative and dynamic entrepreneurship, they created a cultural-culinary concept, aiming at creating a multi-faceted casual experience for its customers. Being also ‘Instagram worthy’, they aimed at introducing an extraordinary F&B experience to customers through innovation and creativity in their outlets. With the ambition of opening up more concept stores island wide, they are expanding the team and are looking at inviting dynamic and creative HR professionals to join them in this exciting journey.

about the job

You will undertake the role of a HRBP, looking over all manpower related matters. You will partner the operation floor to ensure the smooth running of day to day operations and act as a people advisor to work closely alongside the founder of the group to create the desired culture and employer branding in the SG market. Your role will include but not limited to:

  • Employee engagement to understand and identify needs and gaps for improvements
  • Handle employee relations; grievances, counselling
  • Work with the operation manager in manpower and resource planning
  • Familiar with all local legislation and MOM regulations to improvise current HR processes to obtain maximum operational efficiency
  • Improvised employee handbook and ensure salary and benefits benchmarking are competitive to market
  • Be a people partner to the business and perform regular store visits to promote employee engagement between corporate office and F&B/Retail sales team
  • Be a point of contact for L&D matters and assessing effectiveness of training programs needed to upskill the current team
  • Partnering with stakeholders to simplify and optimize HR Processes at the BU level
  • Be a strategic partner to the business to drive and execute HR initiatives

skills and experience required

You will be diploma/degree qualified in HRM or related field of studies and demonstrate at least 5 years of experience preferably in a fast moving F&B/retail/consumer environment. You will be someone with excellent people skills when it comes to employees’ related matters and being adaptable to changes/long term or short term plans. You will also be someone who is versatile in handling people of all cultural levels and demographic backgrounds. Apart from the mentioned, you must be someone who enjoys working in a start up environment with the desire to grow together with the organization. Experiences in start up environments and/or employer branding will definitely place you a league above others.
