about the job
As the HR Business Partner for APAC, you will be responsible for driving business partnering initiatives to improve performance and talent development in Singapore and Hong Kong Offices.
- Provide HR advisory for several senior business leaders across the country and regional leadership teams to meet people and business goals
- Provide strategic advice on the different HR functions and ensure that all policies are aligned with business objectives
- Establish and build strong working relationships, engage and partner with stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of programmes
- Deliver HR processes such as career development, leadership development, internal mobility, workforce planning, succession planning, rewards strategies and performance management
- Advocate International assignments to Singapore and Hong Kong Offices, liaising with relocation specialists onboard overseas employees, which encompasses matters related to immigration and insurances.
- Support Employee Relations, including redundancy, grievance, disciplinary, absence management
- Manage the overall performance and salary review process
- Recommend effective HR initiatives for continuous improvement to current HR practices and contribute to the implementation of HR initiatives
- Manage change management, implements diversity and inclusion initiatives, and supports employee engagement activities
about the manager/team
Reporting to the Senior Associate Director (HR), you will lead the HR department to develop and implement HR strategies and programs in accordance with business priorities, and lead projects within the international HR team, to support business units across APAC.
skills and experience required
The successful candidate should possess at least 5-6 years of relevant HR Generalist or Business Partnering experience, preferably within an International, Financial services organisation. Ideally, one should possess experience in talent management and provide advisory/coaching for business leaders, by utilizing HR metrics, with the ability to work and manage HR challenges/ projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
