Our client is a home grown brand with presence in the global markets. They have well positioned themselves in their industry and they are one of the key players in the upmarket home furnishing segment.

about the job

As a group HR Director, you will lead the HR team in China, SG as well as the rest of the sales offices around the global markets. You will partner closely with the C-suites to develop organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction by establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives on a regional platform.

You will find yourself in a challenging role with abundance of growth opportunities in markets out of SG. With their expansion plans in the pipeline, you will play a key role alongside the group CEO to double their headcount in SG and acquisition plans in China and the global markets. This role will also see through the designing, implementing and the delivery of organizational development on a regional level to align all growth plans with the HQ in SG.

skills and experience required

You will be Degree qualified in HRM or related field of studies and demonstrate at least 15 years of experience in similar capacity preferably in a MNC setting. Exposure in the manufacturing business industry vertical with leadership experience will place you a league above the rest. You will be someone who possesses good stakeholder management with excellent strategic business acumen. Conversant in mandarin will be a mandate due to the business requirement to lead China market. As this role predominantly looks over China market, travelling will be at least at 50%. You will need to commit to frequent travelling with possibility of short term stay being assigned when the need arises.
