    Our client is an established regional freight company, specialising in air freight, ocean freight, land freight and third party logistics. They are renowned in the industry as a leading logistics and supply chain management provider, and the Singapore office acts as the regional hub for SEA, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Their office is located at Changi Airport, and will be moving to Tai Seng in December.

    about the job

    Due to business expansion, they are looking for a Corporate HR Executive to join their team in this newly created role. The role will report into the Corporate Head and manage 60+ employees across their Air Freight entity, as well as payroll for 100+ employees across their Air, Ocean and Land Freight entities. In addition, you will:

    • Provide full spectrum of HR duties including talent acquisition, on-boarding, off-boarding, employee relations / compensation and benefits, performance management, training and development
    • Process and generate HR monthly reports and administer payroll
    • Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements e.g. CPF, IRAS, NS and other government-related claims and work pass applications
    • Spearhead employee engagement activities, including CSR initiatives
    • Compose and distribute official announcement to internal / external stakeholders

    skills and experience required

    • Degree in Human Resources or equivalent
    • Min. 3 years’ experience in a HR Generalist role, including handling in-house payroll
    • Good working knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and local HR practices
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
    • Possess integrity and good work ethics when dealing with classified information
    • Positive working attitude, meticulous and reliable
    • Candidates who are immediately available / available on short notice are highly preferred
