Our client is a Financial Services company with a strong presence in the region, currently recruiting for an HR Generalist (1 year convertable contract) to join the strategic HR team.
about the job
Reporting to the HR Lead, you will be part of a HR team of 4 to support HR activities, including but not limited to:
- Manage employees’ full life cycle activities from onboarding to offboarding, including updating employees’ records into HRIS system (Workday), work pass management and exit interviews
- Manage HR policies, reports and surveys, ensure relevance and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, working with recruiters, candidate interview arrangements, background checks, and offer management
- Manage payroll vendor for monthly payroll processing, government claims and salary review exercise
- Manage employee engagement initiatives and ad hoc HR projects

- Office location: CBD, Singapore
- Candidates available to start on short notice preferred but not a requirement
skills and experience required
- Ideally at least 2-3 years of experience in HR
- Experience working in Banking & Financial Services companies would be advantageous but not a requirement
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and other systems
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
