about the job

Reporting to the HR Ops team lead, you will undertake the role of a HR Generalist, covering all matters pertaining to the day to day HR Ops on the manufacturing ground. Your scope will include but not limited to:

  • Managing the day-to-day HR operations, providing top notch HR service delivery standards
  • Provide HR advisory to HRBPs, line managers and employees on matters pertaining to recruitment, employee queries; policy interpretation, investigations and compliance, employee relations and resolving workplace conflicts
  • Support the HRBPs in ensuring the day to day HR Ops are run smoothly at the BU level and partake in supporting any ad-hoc HR projects and initiatives
  • Responsible for work pass applications of new & existing employees
  • On & Off boarding of employees – entire employee life cycle
  • Support in recruitment coordination, campus recruitment, career fairs and internships hiring
  • Ensure monthly payroll reports are submitted to local payroll vendor and Finance team in accurate and timely manner
  • Support preparation and submission of monthly, yearly and ad hoc HR Management reports and internal/external HR related survey
  • HRIS maintenance
  • Support and evaluate continuous improvement of innovative HR process, policies and strategies
  • Support HR initiatives and HR projects in collaboration with other HR Team members

skills and experience required

You will be degree/diploma qualified in HRM or related field of studies and demonstrate at least 3 years of experience preferably in similar capacity. Relevant experience within the manufacturing or FMCG industry is a definite advantage that would put you in a league above the rest. You will be someone who is able to multitask and work well independently. Apart from the mentioned, you will also be someone who is meticulous with excellent communication skills to communicate effectively with stakeholders. You will also be someone who is quick to think on your feet when faced with various complex employee related situations.
