My client is one of the most reputable and trusted insurance brands and has extensive operations regionally. With strong branding in the market, they provide a wide range of insurance products to their consumers and houses many brands under their umbrella. They are currently inviting a dynamic and independent individual to join their business to take care of HR operation matters within the office.

about the job
You will undertake the role of a HR and Operations Specialist, your role includes but not limiting to:

  • Maintain full spectrum of Recruitment support - coordination of interviews, reference checks, employment contracts, on-boarding/off-boarding activities, hiring needs analysis
  • Manage foreign employees' work pass and contract renewal processes
  • Responsible for end to end payroll processing including tax and CPF submissions
  • Responsible for employees' benefits and claims administration matters
  • Provide HR advisory and strategic advices for full fledge of HR functions
  • Coordinate with Group office to roll out Group initiatives or projects e.g. HRIS system, Workplace Health and Safety initiative, culture surveys, talent & succession process, etc.
  • Maintain office administration related matters - liaising with building management, working with department managers on headcount planning, procurement of office equipment etc

about the manager/team
This is an individual contributor role and will be reporting to the head of Reinsurance.

skills and experience required
You will be degree qualified with relevant qualifications in related field (HR or Business Administrartion) and demonstrate at least 5 years of in similar capacity. Relevant experience is a definite advantage that would put you in a league above the rest. You will be someone with strong communication skills who is good in stakeholder management skills to manage both up and down. You should also be someone who is able to work independently and work well in a fast paced environment. Other than the mentioned, you will also be someone who is able to work well in a multi-cultural environment and familiar with the full suite of HR Operations.
