about the company

Our client is a well established European manufacturing company with offices spanning across more than 24 countries globally. They specialises in calibration services amidst all the other services they rendered to their clients.

about the job

You will undertake the role of a HR Manager, handling the full function of a generalist role. You will business partner the corporate office in SG and Malaysia. You will also ensure excellence service delivery on day to day HR related matters, ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day BAU. You will be someone who is a hands-on HR professional who is willing to roll up your sleeves and work towards a common goal alongside the management team to meet business objectives;

  • Lead and direct the Human Resources Team and processes to deliver a comprehensive HR service to support the business
  • Manage a secure HRIS
  • End to end recruitment activities
  • Managing internal mobility and other global assignees in and out of both SG & MY
  • Partnering with finance on all payroll matters
  • Managing of employee Relations by effectively managing absence, disciplinary, grievances etc
  • Ensure that all policies and procedures are up to date and in line with current legislation
  • Work with the management and line managers on all performance management matters
  • Manpower planning and HR budgeting
  • Monitor performance KPIs and identify gaps for improvement
  • Manage talent and succession planning for both SG & MY and identify needs for training and upskilling of current workforce
  • Lead on any HR projects when needed

about the manager/ team

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will work closely alongside him to meet business objectives for both SG & Malaysia.

skills and experience required

You will be diploma/degree qualified in HRM or related field of studies and demonstrate at least 5 years of experience preferably in the manufacturing industry. You will be someone with excellent people skills when it comes to employees’ related matters and being adaptable to changes. Knowledge of Malaysia’s labour law is a mandate for this role. You will also be someone who is versatile in handling people of all cultural levels and demographic backgrounds. Apart from the mentioned, you must be someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, ever-changing and fast pace environment with the desire to grow together with the organization.
