As the Shared Services Manager, you will partner closely with the Senior Manager to stabilise the overall HR Shared Services operations, streamline processes and drive continuous improvements.
- Ensure that the services delivered coincides with the institution’s policies and relevant legislation requirements
- Assists in the development of standard procedures that ensures execution of HR Operations related processes according to main specifications
- Provide key data and information for the senior leadership team to make complex organizational and strategic decisions based on the right analysis, synthesis, and interpretation of data and trends.
- Contribute to overall strategy, leadership, values, culture and decision-making through active membership of the Senior Leadership Team
- Partner closely with the HR Shared Services Team to strengthen and improve employee engagement, talent acquisition and development, as well as leadership development
- Take a strong personal lead in executing against the shared service budget, ensuring efforts are prioritized, focused and co-ordinated across the business sectors.
- Continuously and consistently measure the performance of the team, constructively challenge team members on individual performance, identify competency gaps and anticipate on key people development and resourcing issues.
- Optimizes existing processes to streamline and develop processes to obtain optimal operational efficiency.
- Assists to support the maintenance of latest HR policies, internal workflows, processes and HR information on Sharepoint.
- Advise internal stakeholders on HR Operations related processes.
- Assists in the administration of main HR processes , such as onboarding, employees’ contract renewal, benefits, and termination
- Serve as the main point of contact for HR inquiries/requests for stakeholders regarding benefits, policies, employee data, HR processes and HR systems
- Perform HR Master Data changes in line with the institution’s policies and regulations
- Support the execution of HR processes and transactions according to the documented procedures to fulfill internal and external service level standards and provide a seamless and accurate delivery of HR services.

about the manager/team
Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will play an instrumental role in the service delivery of day-to-day HR operational matters and to render related HR support efficiently and effectively.
skills and experience required
To be a successful candidate, you should possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related discipline, with at least 5 years of relevant HR work experience in Shared Services or as a HR Generalist. Ideally, you should be well-versed in utilising the HRIS system for data management, and possess excellent knowledge of employment laws, regulations etc. Prior experience with payroll process in the integration into Shared Services would be an added advantage.
