Our client is a well established upmarket consumer brand that needs no introduction. With their new expansion in the region and strong employer brand, they are looking to attract top talents to join them in building up people’s agenda in their Singapore operations. They are known for their luxurious quality consumer product with businesses spread across B2B, B2C as well as travel retail.

about the job

You will be both a strategic and operational HR partner to both the retail and corporate team to develop the people’s agenda for growing, retaining and engaging the talents across the various business functions. You will be optimizing and scaling day-to-day HR Ops and be a trusted and credible HR partner to the SG team. Employee engagement with the local retail sales front will also be part of your scope to stay close to the operation ground to understand and identify needs and gaps for improvements. Your scope will also include but not limiting to:

  • Partnering with stakeholders to simplify and optimize HR Processes
  • Be a strategic partner to the business to drive and execute HR initiatives
  • Work with COE in Asia to develop and implement HR strategies for multi-brands under the holding group
  • Identifying training gaps and introduce effective training programs, tailoring to drive improvement within the retail floor to upskill their skill set
  • Be a point of contact of L&D matters and assessing effectiveness of training programs
  • Perform store visits to promote employee engagement between corporate and retail sales team
  • Perform streamlining and reviewing of HR processes to optimize workflow efficiency and productivity

about the manager/ team

Reporting directly to the Head of HR, you will assume a managerial role, overlooking 3 members in the Singapore HR operation team.

skills and experience required

You will demonstrate at least 8 years of experience in an MNC matrix environment, preferably with relevant industry knowledge within the retail and/or consumer business. You will be someone with excellent communication, good leadership and stakeholder management skills. You will also be someone who is versatile in handling people of all demographic backgrounds and corporate levels.
