HR Manager (Up to $100,000, German MNC, FMCG)

Our client is a renowned European FMCG company. They have established strong footprints in the region with businesses spanning across various countries and growing their presence in SEA. They are well-established in the EU with strong distributorships, joint ventures and remarkable retail presence. They are seeking for a dynamic and passionate HR professional to join them in their start up of business in SG.

about the job
Your will oversee the full spectrum of HR and starting up the office here from scratch. You will get the opportunity to put policies and processes in place and grow together with the company. With exciting HR projects waiting to be rolled out, your core responsibilities to kick start the business is to hire the right people into the organization and setting up the office alongside your Regional team based in Hong Kong:

  • Business partner the business stakeholders on Talent/manpower planning
  • Lead recruitment for the core management team
  • Build employer branding
  • Handle global mobility for internal move within the organization
  • Lead and introduce L&D intervention to meet Talent development within the company

about the manager/team
Reporting to the Regional HR Director based in Hong Kong, you will undertake the role of a HR Manager, leading a team of 3. You will be the first to be on board and thus, also playing a key role in growing the company and partake in decision making during this process for the setting up of SG office.

skills and experience required
You will be Degree/Diploma qualified with at least 8 years of HR experience. You will be also someone who possesses the ability to influence senior stakeholders and leverage on internal resources to meet business objectives. Being hands on and familiar with the local legislations and HR Ops matters are the main pre-requisites of this role. Candidates with relevant experience within the FMCG verticals will be an excellent fit for this role.
