about the job

You will undertake the role of an HR Manager, handling the full function of a generalist role. You will partner alongside the general manager and his team in the corporate office, looking over all matters pertaining to HR. You will also ensure excellence service delivery on day to day HR related matters and ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day BAU. You will be someone who is operationally strong and willing to roll up your sleeves and work towards a common goal alongside with the company. Your role will include:

  • Full spectrum of HR duties; recruitment, on and off boarding
  • Streamline HR processes, work flow and identify gaps for improvement to drive HR initiatives
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and relationships through effective communication, negotiation and alignment of their needs with the organisation’s objectives
  • Support full business relating to recruitment, employee relations, coaching, grievance handling and change management initiatives
  • Develop and review HR policies and procedures against organisational needs, and in compliance to regulatory requirements
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues and solving workplace conflicts and grievances through effective mediation and conducting investigation as necessary
  • Work with the management team to performance management strategies to facilitate performance management, implementing key performance indicators and employee performance assessment

about the manager/ team

Reporting directly to the general manager, you will work closely alongside with the other stakeholders in the company to achieve business objectives.

skills and experience required

You will be diploma/degree qualified in HRM or related field of studies and demonstrate at least 8 years of experience preferably in similar industry. You will be someone with excellent people skills when it comes to employees’ related matters and being adaptable to changes. You will also be someone who is versatile in handling people of all cultural levels and demographic backgrounds. Apart from the mentioned, you must be someone who is passionate about working in a SME environment to help grow the business together with the leadership team. In additionally, you must also possess the determination and resilience to work in a family oriented culture.
