    Our client is a Japanese MNC in the consumer electronics industry. They are looking for a HR Generalist to support the Singapore market, with exposure to the Australia, Thailand and Hong Kong markets.

    about the job

    The role will report into the HR Manager and handle mainly local payroll and operations. Working closely with the other HR counterparts, you will:

    • Handle local payroll and taxation matters and expatriate management
    • Be the key point of contact for external payroll audit and all HR-related internal employee enquiries
    • Support administrative matters relating but not restricted to contracts, on-boarding and off-boarding, work pass application and renewal
    • Manage and maintain employee’s personal data, statutory leave claims and benefits administration
    • Manage and generate HR reports for finance team and management
    • Organise company events and employee engagement activities
    • Drive HR initiatives and any other ad-hoc projects assigned


    skills and experience required

    • Diploma / Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent
    • Minimum 1 year of local payroll experience and HR operations
    • Experience with Timesoft system is essential
    • Solid knowledge of local labor legislation and practices of Singapore
    • Meticulous, good with numbers and excel
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
