Our client is an American Manufacturing MNC, currently recruiting for a HR Services Specialist (renewable contract) to join their HR team.
about the job
This role will manage the HR operational activities for the Singapore office. The job scope includes but not limited to:
- Timely management of MOM work passes - renewal, application, cancellation etc
- Manage HR queries in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to hiring and onboarding, employee data changes, leave of absence administration, accommodation requests, employee separations, global mobility transactions, and local benefit or payroll support
- Guide employees and managers on HR and Workday processes
- Identify and implement process improvement projects to enhance customer experience
- Handle escalated requests and provide a proper solution by analyzing the problem, the impact on the customer and on any appropriate actions
- Create and deliver training to newly hired HR Specialists related to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) customer service best practices and share data’s insights with the team
- Collaborate with appropriate HR leadership/staff, COE, HRBP or third parties to resolve complex or sensitive cases, inquiries or transactions.
- Accurately enters data into appropriate systems and tools.
- Uses Workday Help tool to accurately capture, track, and follow-up on inquiries; entries used to monitor KPI trends, track performance, provide feedback, and improve quality.
- Provide general advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures to new or existing employees and managers.
- Educate employees and managers on HR resources available to them and encourage the use self-service tools
- Maintain employee documentation (personnel file creation, retention, and deletion)

skills and experience required
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related fields
- Ideally at least 2-3 years of experience in managing onboarding to offboarding activities, and work passes
- Proactive, detail-oriented and independent
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and a data-driven mindset
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking skill
