As the HR Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting APAC HR Functions for RPOPs, which includes
- Responsible for issuing employment contracts, employment change letters, payroll/compensation related letters and reference letters to support the entire employee lifecycle, which includes transfers, changes and promotions etc
- Assists in the overall HR Administration process, which includes the compilation of data and preparation of reports
- Provide general administrative support for the annual compensation and performance cycles, which encompasses bonuses and paperwork
- Handle work pass applications, renewals and cancellations for employees
- Administer Medical, Insurance claims, as well as other related statutory claims
- Work and collaborate closely with payroll staff to provide payroll data
- Responsible for assisting in HCM and SAP HR systems, and other HR systems as required
- Assists in the induction for new requisitions and manage/transfer requisitions in the HR system regularly
- Validate and ratify HRIS data, provided by in-country offices
- Ensure that all employee data are approved and updated consistently for hire, termination and employee’s movement
- Assists to develop employment and recruitment related reports from the system, revise the reports and maintain manual tracker, as required
- Advises management on the formulation and administration of plans and policies for human resource activities.
- Analysing and recommending solutions to human resource issues relating to the assigned program or section area.
- Develops, revises and implements HR policies and procedures, in accordance with business priorities
- Ensures program or section area is in compliance with established policies and procedures and with any relevant federal, state or local legislation.
- Prepares and maintains special internal and external reports as requested
- Ensure daily HR operations are in compliance with company policies, employment regulations and laws
- Suggest and manage implementation of suitable HR technology for business advancement
- Keep abreast with new trends and advancements in the Human Resources Field
- Other duties as assigned
about the manager/team
Reporting to the HR Shared Services Director directly , you will be assisting to support the overall HR Operations across the APAC region.
skills and experience required
To be a successful candidate, you should possess at least a Bachelor Degree, within areas of Human Resources, or related disciplines, with at least 3-5 years of relevant HR Operations/ Generalist experience, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, one should possess hands-on HRIS and SAP HR hands-on experience. Prior experience in handling regional portfolios would be an added advantage.
