Operations Team will be providing Level 1 Support by fronting customers through calls/tickets etc and engaging key stakeholders for support. Operations Team operates from 2 Data Centre sites and will be providing support for the various ICT Services (connectivity, cloud, Colocation, managed services etc) and DC Operations across different sites.
About the Job
The role of the Team Lead is to manage the team and the deliverables to the client. Your responsibilities are as follow:
- Manage a team of 24x7 Operations Team
- Ensure accurate, timely escalations, follow-up and resolution with key stakeholders, evaluate team performance and maintain Team KPI
- Develop SOPs and monitor adoption and progress
- Weekly/Monthly Performance Reporting and Review
- Render support to operations and business needs
The operation team will perform the following:
- Ticket Management, requiring Fault Identification and Escalations
- Tracking and broadcast of Maintenance Activities
- Network/System/DCIM Monitoring
- Data Centre Remote Hands Service
- Manage Data Centre Visits/Shipments
- Based in a Data Centre Facility where the IT Support Team performs both the NOC and DC IT Operations functions
Skills & Experience Required
You will need min 5 years’ Experience in IT Helpdesk/NOC environment with min Diploma in IT or related fields
- Certification in ITIL, CCNP will be an advantage
- Familiar with Layer 2 and Layer 3 Technologies, eg DWDM, BGP, to aid in fault identification/escalations
- Good analytical and strong initiative mindset
