With senior stakeholders all aligned on a key focus and investment in Cyber Security, they are hiring a permanent position of a Incident Response Manager (Forensics).

about the job

Reporting to the Global Head of IT Security, your responsibilities will include:

• Being the key point of contact for all investigations and management of security incidents
• Collaborating with the SOC/Blue team to carrying out investigation and/or forensics to identify cyber security incidents and determine the root cause of any security breaches
• Performing scripting and other tactical automation of incident management
• Detecting and implementing immediate action plans on the occasion of security incidents in addition to maintaining internal communications and supervising operations during and after significant incidents
• Developing and operating processes to improve the organisation’s overall incident response plan through table-top exercises
• Collaborating with cross functional and leadership teams to improve policies and processes related to high priority request
• Identify and implement improvement in response and resolution of security incidents through orchestration and automation of response procedures.
• Support the wider technology team in operational incidents and identifying security incidents.
• Reviewing standard security protocols and updating them if needed

skills and experience required

As a successful candidate, you will need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• Certifications in Cyber Security related field
• At least 8 years of extensive experience in managing incident response and investigating targeted threats
• At least 3 years of experience or exposure at using any forensic analysis tools to support incident response or forensic.
• Strong background in scripting and automation of response procedures
• Excellent and interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders
