job description

about the company
Our client is a long established company specializing in supplying electrical products to industries such as general buildings, oil and gas, defence etc


about the job

  • Source for product suppliers and negotiate for better pricing, better delivery lead time.
  • Prepare quotations to customers and attend to customer enquiries
  • Liaise closely with both vendors and customers to ensure smooth procurement and deliveries
  • Advise customers on product inventory level and perform inventory planning to ensure sufficient stock level
  • Performing operation processes such as order entries, deliveries arrangement, MRA, sales reports and sales support to the team.
  • Liaise closely with team members (outdoor sales) for all customers’ enquiries, ensure responses to customers are aligned.
  • Attend to customers’ RFQ within 48hrs, if items required extra time in sourcing, revert to customers to ensure they are aware that we are working on it.
  • Processed order entries through ERP whilst working with various departments to rectify delivery issues to ensure that customers receive their orders punctually
  • Handled products’ Return Material Authorization (RMA) when necessary
  • Arranged delivery schedules and updated to customers on daily basis
  • Provided online customer service support in orders placements
  • Ensure PO received are keyed in within 24hrs.


skills and experience required

  • Diploma in Engineering preferred
  • At least 2 years of inside sales experience for industrial products
  • Candidates with prior experience in costing for construction/building project will have an advantage
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
