My client design and manufacture of equipment, precision components. A successful and growing semiconductor equipment manufacturer, has a great opportunity for a senior / mechancial design engineer role for their expansion in Singapore.

about the job

  • Manage the Purchasing Department staff members
  • Managing the print room
  • Manage and evaluate the purchasing activities and budget of the organisation
  • Negotiate major purchases, develop blanket or master agreements with suppliers
  • Oversee required purchasing processes
  • Review records of materials, equipment, products, or services ordered and received

skills & experience required

  • Degree / Diploma in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
  • Min 5 years of experience in purchasing / procurement of furnitures & fixtures / stationery / equipments / copiers etc
  • Experience in vendor management software
  • Ability to gather and analyse data and to work with figures
  • Experience working in an education institute will be a plus
  • Experience in managing people
