about the job

This role is to support the IA team. You will analyse mass data and pinpoint trends, patterns, anomalies to improve effectiveness, identify areas of risk, etc. You will use visualisation dashboards to create charts and graphs in a meaningful and attractive way. You will use data analytics tools and techniques to come up with financial modelling, data mining and predictive analysis to assist the IA team members in identifying key risk areas. You will be involved in automating repetitive tasks and doing data sanitization. You will work closely with the IT team to ensure data accuracy and availability which is crucial for reliable audit testing.

You will be working together in a team of competent and proactive individuals. They are strong team players and would render you that helping hand whenever needed.

skills and experience required

You should be Degree qualified in Accountancy from a reputable university and possess at least 5 years of working experience in Finance related work and have used DA in a finance team. The work experience involves using data analytics tools such as SQL and Python, data visualisation dashboards such as Power BI and Tableau. You have exposure to new technology and robotic tools such as RPA and NLP to automate manual work. Knowledge in Business Intelligence such as Galvanize software and analytics tools like ACL, Oracle Transaction Business Intelligence will be highly advantageous. You should have good communications skills and be able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
