Our client is a real estate private equity fund with a strong focus on the Greater Mekong Subregion (Cambodia, Myanmar, Lao PDR, Vietnam and Thailand). Currently they are looking for an investment analyst to be based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
This role will report to the CEO office and provide daily support to senior members of the investment team and is responsible for providing analytical and operational support on potential investment opportunities and transactions.
about the job
- Work as part of the Investment team to provide in-depth analysis of investment transactions
- Develop financial models to assess the economic value of potential investment deals
- Perform valuation methodologies comparative analysis and discounted cash flow analysis on target assets
- Research, analyze, present and document drafting elements of a developing transaction
- Develop pitch decks and investment memorandum
- Keep track and conduct quarterly updates of real estate assets under management
- Following the investment market primarily in Cambodia and other regional emerging markets
- Researching and analyzing market data on transactions and using property data to support assumptions and acquisitions
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
skills & experience required
- Undergraduate degree in Finance and Risks Management with strong academic performance
- Minimum one year of experience working in finance, investment banking or buy-side
- Financial modelling skills is a must
- Self-motivated individual with strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical ability
- Willingness to be stationed in Cambodia
