about the company

Our client is an European MNC looking for an IT Engineer (APAC)

about the job

In this role, you will support the Singapore office as well remote users based in APAC.

  • Installation, maintenance, and support of system software and hardware.
  • Assists with system administration, monitoring, upgrades and maintenance.
  • Maintains existing domains, servers, and applications throughout the enterprise.
  • Deploys, administers, and supports vendor and in-house applications and associated hardware.
  • Installing operating system software, patches, and upgrades
  • Analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving system hardware, software, and networking issues
  • Physical ability to install systems and other hardware on data-center racks.
  • Monitors performance and proactively administers assigned systems and in-house applications.
  • Evaluates, installs and tests systems/network hardware and software.
  • Provides end-user support, as required, using standard tools and processes.



You will work regular working hours, this is a permanent position.



skills and experience required

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in System Administration
  • Strong knowledge of system administration Windows Operating Systems like Server 2013/2016, Win7
  • Support local users and support users using phone and remote control.
  • Excellent working knowledge of up-to-date desktop applications
  • Win10 and MS office suites from 2007 to the most recent one.
  • Experience with O365 beneficial
  • Basic administration knowledge of systems and servers, phone systems, wireless infrastructure related to network
