To lead the IT’s Governance, Risk and Compliance function to enable effective management of Governance, technology and operational risk and compliance in line with the GRC framework.

Role needs to lead the IT’s Governance, Risk and Compliance function to enable effective management of Governance, technology and operational risk and compliance in line with the GRC framework.

  • Review and keep relevant IT Governance Framework including Policies and Procedures
  • Identify areas of improvement with emphasis on the changing operating environment andimplement necessary improvement initiatives to fortify IT Governance Framework
  • Manage Group IT audit engagements
  • Drive risk and compliance requirements within Group IT working in tandem with the relevant departments, which includes: - Monitoring of technology risk profile, defining key risk indicators, key metrices, analysing trends, recommending improvements. - Overseeing technology risk management process, which includes risk register, risk forums / committees, templates and tools. - Develop and conduct of IT Risk & Compliance Awareness program - Oversee IT Compliance program which is aligned to politices, controls, standards and procedures.
  • Develop and enhance the testing strategy, methodology, discipline and framework.
  • Drive and improve the testing team in areas of automated testing and agile testing.
  • Interact regularly with both internal and external stakeholders identify continual improvement opportunities.


skills and experience required

  • At least 8 years relevant experience managing and monitoring governance, risk and compliance systems
  • Advanced knowledge of risk assessment design and delivery.
  • Experience working with internal and external auditors.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Perform multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communicator with strong influencing skill set and able to manage conflicts
  • Team player who can lead in brainstorm session with peers to problem solve and make decisions
  • Self driven with a positive attitude to champion for culture change management initiatives
  • Strong initiative and leadership
  • Analytical skills and a creative approach to problem solving
  • Presentation skills for delivering workshops and escalating business impacting issues
