Management
- Design, develop and implement IT policies and procedures
- Monitor performance of IT systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
- Managing IT roadmap, budget, vendors, compliance and audit coordination
Hardware & software acquistion, support and maintenance
- Manage acquisition and inventory control of hardware and software licenses
- Evaluating performance of all devices and make necessary recommendations on future purchases
IT operations, infrastructure & network
- End user support
- Manage IT infrastructure development and upgrades
- Installation and setting up of office broadband, firewall, servers, routers, workstations
- Manage firewall and VPN acess
- Manage renovations and relocation of offices and stores
- Manage and provide technical support for network and security products/ solution
- Monitor network performance and establish plans for technology refresh and expansion requirements
- Maintain an understanding of current vulnerabilities, response and mitigation methodology used to support network security operations
Cloud computing & server management
- Cloud Computing Solutions
- On premise server management
- Security patch updates and migration to cloud services
- Data Protection and Retention
Cybersecurity
- Conduct employee training to drive data security awareness
- Perform risk assessments, implement controls and incident management
- Strengthen cyber defense capabilities to protect the group’s assets, brand reputation and customers’ trust
skills and experience required
- Minimally Diploma/ Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Proven working experience as a IT Manager, with minimally 5 years of working experience in a IT security position, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as ISO, NIST, SOX, COBIT.
- Experienced in IT security compliance, operations, security patching, incident management and security reviews with enterprise architecture and IT governance.
- Professional security certifications e.g. CISA, CISM and CISSP are highly preferred.
- Hands on working experience with network administration, network installation, data centre management and data governance.
- Experienced in the design, plan and management of critical network infrastructure.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Independent, reliable and a team player.
