Our client is a prestigious law firm at the forefront of the legal industry, looking for an ambitious IT Manager to be an individual contributor in the Singapore office.





about the job

In this role, the primary purpose of the role is to manage and provide 2nd line IT support to users and be the point of escalation for all IT issues within an office. This involves taking ownership of incidents & requests that have been assigned / escalated to the Local IT team and troubleshooting these through to resolution in a timely and consistent manner.

  • Resolving incidents / requests in a timely fashion remotely or in person.
  • Install, configure, upgrade and support hardware (laptops, desktop PC's, printers, telephones and mobile device) and troubleshoot applications
  • Provide support at events and meetings in line with the business requirements
  • Provide AV support by initiating, monitoring and troubleshooting video conference calls.
  • Vendor management and budgeting
  • Using the Incident Management tool to record and accurately create / update all Incidents/Requests in line with defined quality requirements



This is a permanent role.





skills and experience required

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years similar experience
  • Legal / professional services background is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Server 2008 and above, Active Directory, SQL 2008 and above, Windows 7 and above and MS Exchange
  • In depth experience of the Microsoft Office Suite, ideally Office 2010 and above
  • Experience in Document Management systems (e.g. Netdocs, DM16), Time capturing systems (e.g. Carpe Diem), CRM systems (e.g. Interaction) and Collaboration systems (e.g. Office, Exchange, Litera).
  • Previous experience using ServiceNow preferred.
