about the job

In this role, you will be required to:

  • Provide frontline hardware and software support (including appropriate IT training)
  • Assist with the implementation of the Group IT Strategic Plan and IT projects
  • To ensure the smooth and effective running of the IT systems and infrastructure in Singapore and Shanghai
  • Produce monthly IT reports for local partnership meetings and IT project reports for Group IT meetings
  • Ensure monitoring systems are checked on a daily basis and alerts responded to as appropriate
  • Manage all 3rd parties in relation to local hardware and software support contracts
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organisational standards
  • Ensure Active Directory checks are actioned for site, e.g. remove redundant / retired computers from AD computer (Mac or windows) list
  • Ensure the VMTools software is kept up to date on local Virtual servers

This is a permanent position. You will be directly reporting to the Finance Director in the Singapore office.

skills and experience required

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Diploma or degree in IT or related discipline
  • Windows Server knowledge (2008R2 /2012R2 essential, ideally through to 2016)
    • Min 5 years of hands-on experience and technical knowledge
    • Some knowledge of PowerShell scripting skill/knowledge
    • Good level of understanding of Active Directory, GPO’s, Domain Controllers and their roles
  • Vmware 5.5 / 6.5 / vSphere
    • Min 2 years of hands-on experience and technical knowledge
    • Ability to create own VM templates
  • Mac environment
    • Min 3 years of hands-on experience and technical knowledge
    • Imaging and deployment (using tools such as JAMF or DeployStudio)
  • Knowledge of Internet-based Telecommunication systems
  • Broad knowledge of Networking (Wide & Local Area, Routers, Switches, Firewalls)
  • Knowledge of key Adobe Creative tools (CS6 and later) – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat from a support perspective.
  • Previous involvement in Office 365 migration (particularly email and Skype for Business / Teams) and ongoing administration and support for key applications.
  • Ability to Project Manage technical deployments and defined IT projects
  • Excited to work in a creative, non corporate setting
