Our Client is a market leader within their industry. They have a well-established presence of more than 20 years. With rapid expansion plan, they are now looking for an IT Manager with MNC, APAC to join their team.


About the job

Reporting directly to the Global IT Director, your role involves:

  • Managing the IT (End User Computing/EUC/Collaboration tools/ Workplace) team across APAC. This includes hiring, assigning of work, performance review and etc
  • Designing and maintaining IT roadmaps, Planning and designing IT solutions for accurate service efficiency and effectiveness
  • Advising senior business stakeholders on the adoptions and translation of digital technology to improve business performances
  • Establishing service level management practices to ensure that the level of service from internal and external service providers are defined
  • Managing IT Incident, Problem, and change management processes across Asia
  • Proactively engaging on all high priority incidents, identify under-reported issues and flag potential. This includes reviewing closed tickets are closed with root cause analysis and preventive action pitfalls. This includes conducting period (weekly and monthly) service operation meetings
  • Leading IT projects across Asia. This includes milestone planning and risk management across Asia
  • Managing hardware/software purchasing and license management, creating Business continuity, disaster recovery plans and IT SOP (Standard Operating Procedures)

Skills and experience required
As a successful applicant, you will have at least 5 years of experience managing a sizable IT team. At least 8 years of experience in end user computing (EUC)/Servicenow is required for this role. Strong stakeholder management at C-level with exceptional influencing skills to gather buy-in from various stakeholders. Proven experience in designing global roadmaps/IT strategy will be of added advantage.

Candidates who have exposure to interaction with global IT HQ will be highly preferred.
