Our Client is a leading end user MNC and a market leader within their industry. With rapid expansion plans, they are now they are now hiring a permanent position of a IT Security Specialist to join their team.

About the job
As a part of the Global Security team and reporting to the Security expert, your responsibilities include:

• Conducting regular security analysis such as network security/ Firewall, SIEM, intrusion detection and prevention system
• Performing vulnerability assessment and penetration testing through external partners/vendors
• Providing advisory and recommend resolutions for security threats and vulnerabilities
• Conducting Log review assessment, Monitoring the activity logs to identify any potential vulnerabilities
• Developing and execution of corporate security awareness and training programs
• Investigating and assessing security breaches within a defined area of responsibility to maintain the compliance with cyber security policies and standards.
• Producing timely and actionable intelligence and reporting on emerging cyber trends, threats and issues

Skills and experience required
As a successful applicant, you will have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in IT/Cyber Security (SOC, network security/firewall, intrusion detection, prevention system).
• Candidates with exposure to infrastructure operations will have added advantage
• Candidates from end user environment will be of added advantage
