My client owns a local market leading business. They design, developing produce solutions for a range of markets across multiple industries. As an IT Service Desk Consultant, you will be the initial port of call or emails for providing technical support to end users who require assistance with services offered by the IT department. This could involve fixing technical faults, answering queries or fulfilling requests.
about the job
- Act as a single point of contact for phone calls and emails from end users regarding IT issues and queries
- Received, logged and managed calls from end users via telephone, email, chatbots
- 1st line support - troubleshooting of IT related problems from technologies such as Windows 10, desktop / laptop, MS outlook, MS Teams, mobile services
- Escalate unresolved calls to the level 2/3 support team
- Log all calls/emails through ticketing system – ServiceNow (SNOW)
- Maintained a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles
- Installing, maintaining, upgrading, and decommissioning hardware, software or network components
- Complying with and upholding company policies and procedures
