Our client is an prestigious European bank.

They are seeking an IT Specialist to provide support to the IT & Logistics team.



about the job

As an IT Specialist, you will be required to:

  • Deliver level 1 & 2 helpdesk & technical services to end-users, response to and follow up on open service desk calls / service requests until closure in a timely manner relating to computer systems, software and hardware
  • Install and support Office Automated software i.e. MSOffice, MS Outlook etc.
  • Support universal cabling patching at user’s desk, and telecommunication equipment (e.g. telephone, fax, mobile, audio and video conferencing)
  • Escalate the relevant issues to the next level of support in a timely manner
  • Maintain the IT-Logistics inventory

This is a 12 month contract position with a chance of conversion to a permanent staff.



skills and experience required

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Diploma or Degree in IT or related discipline
  • Min 3 years experience in Technical Support
  • Proficient Technical knowledge in Microsoft, Domino, Telephony products and mobile devices (e.g. iOS, iPhone, iPad) management
  • Proficient in Windows Desktop/Laptop Operating systems
  • Hands-on experience in technical support, installation and troubleshooting
  • Background in banking will be a bonus
