about the job

As an IT Support Executive, you will provide IT support to end users in Singapore and regional offices. This includes providing 1st and 2nd line desk side support services on all supported technologies including PC and Mac hardware, running Windows 7, 10 and Mac OSX.

You will be required to:

  • Setup, configuration and problem solving for internal users (including VIP support)
  • Provide remote support for users (helpdesk function) to diagnose VPN problems
  • Administration and maintenance of user accounts on mail and file servers (Windows 2003 server and Exchange Server), creation / deletion of accounts, password resets
  • Assist in setting up Video Conference & Telepresence calls, day-to-day checks on AC & VC systems
  • Support on laptop / desktop OS issues; install and configure software and hardware on desktop systems, including printers, scanners, networking.

This will 1 year contract, renewable and chance for conversion.

You will be entitled to a Completion Bonus and enjoy many of the perks as per a perm hire!

skills and experience required

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Diploma or degree in IT or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in end user IT support
  • Good knowledge and skills on Microsoft OS, Ms Office Productivity, Telephony, Windows, Mac OS, Apple iOS, Apple iWork, IT networking
  • Apple mobile devices, mac hardware/software
  • Solid Customer Service skills and ability to think outside the box to solve IT issues. Especially so, providing IT solutions one step above what end user requires so to prevent potential issues down at a later stage.
