job description

about the role
• User and Infrastructure Support
• Installing operating system software, patches, and upgrades
• Analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving system hardware, software, and networking issues
• Physical ability to install systems and other hardware on data-center racks.
• Maintaining software applications, operating systems and regular maintenance.
• Monitors performance and proactively administers assigned systems and in-house applications.
• Provides regular reports on performance, project status, and other infrastructure data
• Maintains data, software, and hardware security and emergency procedures.
• Works with hardware vendors to provide corrective and preventive hardware maintenance.
• Evaluates, installs and tests systems/network hardware and software.
•Provides Tier 2 and Tier 3 end-user support, as required, using standard tools and processes.

skills and experience required

  • Expert with Windows, Systems/Infrastructure Management, Networking, Virtualization
    • Strong knowledge of system administration Windows Operating Systems like Server2013/2016, Win7
    • Will require to support local users and support users using phone and remote control.
    • Win10 and MS office suites from 2007 to the most recent one. Experience with O365 beneficial
    • UNIX and Linux would be nice to have.
    • Scripting/programming skills (Powershell, Java, C++, etc.) are welcome
    • Knowledge of computer hardware components and excellent troubleshooting skills
    • Knowledge of computer software applications and excellent troubleshooting skills
