Junior HRBP (Assistant HR Manager)

US MNC, Luxury fashion retail (Up to $6000)

about the role

You will be a strategic partner to both the retail and corporate team to develop the people’s agenda for growing, retaining and engaging the talents across the various business functions. You will be optimizing and scaling day-to-day HR Ops and be a trusted and credible HR partner to the SG team. Employee engagement with the local retail sales front will also be part of your scope to stay close to the operation ground to understand and identify needs and gaps for improvements. Your scope will also include but not limiting to:

  • Partnering with stakeholders to simplify and optimize HR Processes
  • Be a strategic partner to the business to drive and execute HR initiatives
  • Work with COE in Asia to develop and implement HR strategies for multi-brands under the holding group
  • Identifying training gaps and introduce effective training programs, tailoring to drive improvement within the retail floor to upskill their skill set
  • Be a point of contact of L&D matters and assessing effectiveness of training programs
  • Perform store visits to promote employee engagement between corporate and retail sales team
  • Perform streamlining and reviewing of HR processes to optimize workflow efficiency and productivity

skills and experience required

You will be Degree/Diploma qualified from a well positioned university with preferable qualifications in HRM or any related field of studies and demonstrates at least 5 years of experience in similar capacity. You will be someone who is able to work well in a high performance culture and known for your excellent interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders. Other than the mentioned, you will also be someone who embraces teamwork and able to work well in a multi-cultural environment. Experience within the consumer market (retail/FMCG) will be a definite advantage that will place you a league above the rest.
