About The Job
As a team member of their onboarding team sitting in Compliance, you will be part of a structured team that facilities the organisation’s adherenece to KYC and AML regulations and policies. You can expect to liaise with key stakeholders, as well as other key business lines including the front office. Being part of this team will not only allow you to hone your skills and knowledge of the compliance KYC advisory, but afford you the opportunity to be an integral part of the organisation's compliance team that directly impacts and contributes to its success. You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting periodic review for new and existing clients in accordance with KYC/AML and due diligence requirements, including source of wealth corroboration
  • Reviewing of high risk complex entities, including PEPs, adverse news, sanctions etc,
  • Addressing concerns and issues of internal stakeholders on KYC/AML related matters
  • Participation in the review of compliance regulations (MAS 626 and AML-related) and any compliance related projects
  • Advising on escalated screenings by first line of defence

Skills And Experience Required

  • Possess a Degree in Business, Banking or Finance
  • Good understanding of KYC procedures, documents, and regulations in Private banking
  • Familiarity approving and advising on high risk cases in private banking
  • At least 3 years of banking/finance related experience in Private Banking compliance advisory
  • Good understanding of MAS guidelines
  • Able to work with high level of accuracy and attention to details
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
