Our Client is one of the most renowned investment management firms in their industry, with its APAC HQ in Singapore. They are currently hiring a permanent position of an L1/L2 IT Specialist / IT Support Analyst (WebEx / Microsoft Teams) to provide onsite support to the team, APAC region and general IT issues in office.

About the job

Reporting to the Global Head of IT, your job responsibilities include:

  • Installing and configuring end user computer systems, respond to end user IT support requests, diagnose and repair hardware malfunctions, software issues, and networking problems
  • Troubleshooting basic WebEx and/or Microsoft Teams technical issues
  • Assuming ownership of escalated issues from end users and drive them to resolution
  • Provide technical support on-site or via remote-access systems such as WebEx or Microsoft Teams
  • Implementing training to users in addition to providing assistance with their technical issues.
  • Escalating other IT issues to relevant internal teams. (For example, software development team)

Skills and experience required

As a successful applicant, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a Desktop Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or similar role in a Windows environment.
  • Understanding and familiarity with remote desktop applications such as Citrix etc.
  • Configure basic issues on WebEx and/or Teams.
  • Certifications in Microsoft, Cisco or other technologies would be advantageous.
