Having said that, they are seeking for a team of Laboratory Technicians to join their team in Jurong Island

about the job

This job will see the successful applicant provide reliable and reproducible analytical results to Operations on a timely manner and to main quality control systems at its highest level. It will also entail lab tests and analyzing of procedures so that it is duly communicated to operation personnel's

Other accountabilities would include

  • Operation of laboratory equipment and instruments for lab tests purposes

  • Identifying chemical or physical characteristics in line with quality, process and product development to perform laboratory tests according to described procedures for determining the chemical or physical

  • Trouble shooting on non-conformance of analysis data and lab instruments

  • Preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment and instruments followed by constructive communication of results to relevant teams

  • Regular updates of existing work instructions, analytical instructions and laboratory records as required

about the manager/team

You will be working in a closely knitted team whereby you will report in to the Lab Manager and work with relevant scientists likewise business units that put quality, deliverables and work life balance as priorities

skills and experience required

  • Diploma in Chemistry or equivalent with at least 1 year of relevant work experience within similar practices

  • Willing to work in Jurong Island and perform 12 hours rotating shifts (Allowance provided)

  • Experience in handling lab equipment such as GC, HPLC, Automatic Titrators, AAS, UV Spectrometer, Glass Oven, Rotary evaporator, Density meter, X-ray, TOC-Analyzer, Molecular sieve, TGA Analyzers would be advantageous

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a team player.
