about the company
My client is a well established organization which aims to enhance the competencies of HR professionals as well as provide them with developmental opportunities. They place a focus on maximising human capital, provides a range of programmes and products for HR Professionals to get certified and ensure that they are kept up to date with current HR practices. They aim to establish excellent standards of excellence. They are now looking for a L&D Asst Manager to join the team. You will look at supporting Learning Programmes and continuing professional development initiatives.

about the job
You will be undertaking the role of a Asst L&D Manager, your role includes but not limiting to:

  • Designing, developing and managing the ongoing L&D programmes and look at continuous uplifting of HR Capabilities and community.
  • Maintaining the internal LMS System and ensure that digital contents are kept up to date.
  • Analyse data from various resource points to understand learning needs of the HR community.
  • Curate learning content and programmes that are unique and exclusive to the HR community.
  • Define and track learning objecties, business outcomes and metrics for respective L&D Programmes.
  • Source for suitable training vendors that are within budget and able to provide suitable learning contents.


about the manager/team
You will be working in a team of 5 and be reporting into the Asst Director of Professional Practices.


skills and experience required
You will be degree qualified in HRM, Psychology or related field of studies and possess at least 3 years of L&D experience. It would be ideal if you have experience working within a HR consulting firm. You will be someone who has solid understanding of HR trends and have the ability to map out L&D strategies. As this is not an internal L&D role, you will be someone who is able to effectively manage stakeholders expectations. Besides the mentioned, you should have strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgements. You will also be someone who is able to foster a positive and open team environment.
