about the company
With over 10 years of establishment, my client is one of the leading educational institutions in Singapore. They offer a diverse range of courses and specialisations for their students and are continuing to diversify the range of courses they offer to their students. They are now looking to hire for a Senior Manager, L&D to join the team. This role starts off as 1 year contract but there would be opportunities for extension/conversion moving forward.

about the job
You will be undertaking the role of a Senior Manager L&D, your role includes but not limiting to:

  • Liaising with internal business leaders to identify any gaps in the current L&D programs and putting in place improvement plans.
  • Oversee and manage the end to end L&D process - curating content, delivery methods, sourcing for vendors, assessing effectiveness, gathering feedback etc.
  • Analysing data to measure effectiveness of learning outcomes.
  • Driving a productive and learning culture across the organization.
  • Preparing and conducting new hire orientation training programs.
  • Designing and finetuning competency framworks, rolling out individual development plans.
  • Talent Management initiatives - career development, succession planning, performance management etc.

about the manager/team
You will be reporting into the Assistant Director of L&D and work in a team of 3.


skills and experience required
You will have relevant degree and qualifications with at least 7 years’ of relevant experience in the the L&D function. It would be ideal if you have experience working within the Education industry. You will possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills to build strong relationships to understand learning needs and to be a strategic learning partner. You are experienced in talent assessment tools and able facilitate discussions. You are also able to handle L&D end to end from designing to delivering talent programs.
