In this role, you will lead and provide guidance to the team, and oversee credit control operations by implementing and maintaining the company's credit policy and operational procedures. Engaging with clients and business partners, you'll diligently address overdue payments, reconcile accounts, and resolve credit-related concerns. Internally, you'll analyze accounts, ensure compliance with regulatory rules, and maintain effective cash management processes. Additionally, you'll provide regular reports to management, and actively contribute to month-end closing and the annual audit process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across the board. Ad hoc projects and seamless coordination with stakeholders will also be vital aspects of this role.
Skills and experience required
Diploma in accounting and finance with at least 5 years of credit control experience in the re/insurance industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. In order to succeed, you should possess strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, you should be a strong team player and possess the ability to work under pressure.
