- Lead the implementation of the new IFRS17 accounting standard
- Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the requirements and implications of the standard
- Work with other members of the finance team to identify and address operational and technical issues related to the implementation
- Provide guidance and training to other members of the finance team on the new standard
- Manage the implementation timeline and ensure compliance with all relevant deadlines
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with auditing standards
- Provide insights and analysis that support business decisions related to the implementation of the standard
Skills and experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- At least 8 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on insurance accounting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, including IFRS17
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders
