Currently, they are looking for a Lead/Senior Structural Engineer to join their building business. In this role, you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of projects. Below are your key responsibilities.
Responsibilities
... - Prepare detailed designs and documentation for the implementation of building projects, lead and delegate tasks within a workgroup.
- Preparation of calculations required for the design of engineering projects.
- Preparation of specifications, proposals, and other tender documentation.
- Use initiative to resolve tasks or problems that arise at a competent level.
- Act as a technical expert to mentor and develop other structural engineers within the team, and provide structural design expertise in overseeing all technical aspects of projects.
- Liaison with clients, sub-consultants, contractors, and communicate clearly with colleagues and managers.

Requirements
- Recognised Civil & Structural Engineering qualification (Bachelor / Master’s degree).
- Minimum 8 to 15+ years of relevant experience in an engineering consultancy environment.
- Proven proficiency and experience in civil / structural engineering design and analysis on building projects in Singapore.
- Solid experience in reinforced concrete, post tension concrete and structural steelwork design. Seismic design experience is advantageous.
- Sound understanding and application of relevant engineering codes, standards, and practices.
- Strong client focus, excellent communication skills, teamwork, and self-motivation.
