about the job
- Responsible for planning, organizing and controlling of all production-related activities
- Ensure operations adhere to operating procedures, quality and safety requirements
- Review the operation of plant equipments and systems constantly
- Monitor, report, develop and implement improvement programs
- Lead a team to maximize productivity
- Collaborate to improve process, performance and management efficiency
- Support and participate in the EHS programs
- Support the Continuous Improvement programs
skills & experience required
- Master / Bachelor degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Production / Manufacturing Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing environment and 5 years in production & operations management
- Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and processes on VSM, Kaizen
- Candidates with manufacturing experience from precision machining will be a big plus
- Six sigma / PMP certified
- Able to be hands on with the ground level personnel on the shop floor
- Well versed with lean manufacturing
- Experience in advanced manufacturing (Built-to-order) concept will be a plus
- Willing to work in eastern part of Singapore
