L&D Manager (Up to $7000)

about the company

This brand has well positioned themselves in the retail industry with fashion accessories being their mainstream business. They are a very established brand in the SG market with constant rising popularity locally and regionally. With their commendable succession in their product line, they have gained a large market share in the SEA region and will be also plans in growing their brand into the APAC and ANZ market. Their brand name was build from scratch by the founders and is now know for their quality merchandise offered to their customers in the mass retail market.

about the job

You will lead a dedicated L&D team and oversee organization wide L&D programmes to meet business objectives and goals. Your responsibilities will also include Talent Management; Developing and implementing of competency framework, talent reviews and succession planning. You will integrate and identify gaps between Retail operations and L&D competencies to align corporate directions in meeting company’s core values and organizational goal.

about the team

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will lead a team of 4 within the L&D function.

skills and experience required

You will be Degree or Diploma qualified in HRM or related field of studies and demonstrate at least 8 years of experience preferably in similar capacity. Relevant experience within retail operations and field sale training is a definite advantage that would put you in a league above the rest. You should possess the ability to relate to people of all levels. You will also possess a strong fashion sense with passion in fashion styling. Apart from the mentioned, you will also be someone with proven records of good leadership skills in leading a team. You will also be someone with excellent communication skills with the ability to relate to people of different levels. In return, the role could offer you with abundance of opportunities to grow together with the team to grow the organization into an international renowned brand.
