about the company

My client is an ambitiously growing organization and has strong regional presence across Asia. They are a parent company of a few different entities and is an internet platform provider across their region. They are currently hiring for a L&D Manager to build up and design the different training initiatives for the organization.

about the job

You will be sitting with the L&D team and this position is crucial in developing the human capital within the organization. You will undertake the role of a L&D Manager, your role includes but not limiting to:

  • Identify training and development needs through performing data analysis, liaising with business leaders to understand training requirements, as well as understanding the mission of the firm’s business.
  • Design and deliver new training and development programs as well as improve existing training processes that are aligned with the business’ goals.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to designing effective learning and development initiatives in Singapore.
  • Develop training programs in accordance to overseas business requirements
  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development initiatives to ensure that they are in line with the developmental goals
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned

about the manager/team

You will be reporting to the senior HR Manager

skills & experiences required

You will be degree qualified in HRM or related fields of studies. You should possess a degree or equivalent from a reputable university. You will have at least 5 years of experience in the L&D function and have a good understanding of training methodologies. Candidates with a Generalist background who are keen to specialise in L&D are highly encouraged to apply. You should be analytical and attentive to details and use a hands on approach to tackle problems faced. You will have strong communication skills in order to effectively communicate with regional counterparts.
