about the job

You will undertake the role of L&D Manager, supporting the shop front, directing all matters pertaining to learning and development needs. You will business partner the BU and identify training needs and perform analysis work in the capacity of learning and development. You will also work together with the HR and operation team in designing curriculum and conducting in-house trainings to ensure continuity of learning throughout the employees’ career and address any skill or knowledge gaps.

Apart from the above mentioned, you will also work closely with assigned branches key stakeholders to analyse individual branch learning and development requirements and formulate learning solutions, catering to the needs of the respective outlets.

about the manager/ team

Reporting directly to General Manager and functionally to the VP of HR, you will work closely alongside an exceptional dynamic and energetic team. Teamwork is of an essence to our client and you will be looking at working with an exceptional cohesive HR team.

skills and experience required

You will be diploma/degree qualified in HRM or related field of studies and demonstrate at least 6 years of experience preferably in a fast moving retail/F&B environment. You will be someone with excellent interpersonal skills with proven track record to be able to work fast and adaptable to changes. You will also be someone who is versatile in handling people of all demographic backgrounds and also speaking with corporate level stakeholders. Apart from the mentioned, you will also be someone who is able to work well in a dynamic, ever-changing and fast pace environment with the desire to grow together with the organization. Conversant in mandarin is essential for this role due to business requirement with stakeholders and employees within the business.
