The role is responsible for developing and reviewing internal control regulations, guidelines, or policies, and practices to manage risks according to the local laws, regulations, and internal control framework. You should be able to promote compliance activities such as conducting legal & compliance training for Asia Pacific and group companies in the region. The role should also review legal contracts and provide advice on general corporate, regulatory, administrative, legal and compliance matters.

This role reports to the Head of Legal, Compliance & Ops Risk.
skills and experience required
- Qualified lawyer
- At least 5 years of prior working experience, ideally with law firm experience
- Legal & compliance experience in an insurance firm or financial institution
- Knowledge of internal control including legal and compliance
- Ability to understand life insurance industry in APAC region and broader business strategy
