Managing legal and compliance matters of the organisation, drafting of commercial contracts, assisting the general counsel in handling trading and shipping contracts. Establishing legal and compliance policies, procedures and frameworks to manage legal and compliance risks. Mitigating legal risks in the business areas and providing legal support and strategic advice to the stakeholders. Working closely with external counsels in compliance with the company policies.

skills and experience required
Called to the Singapore Bar or any common law jurisdiction with at least 3-5 years of experience working as in house counsel in a commodity/trading industry. You are a strong team player and an effective communicator.
