Our client is a renowned international consulting firm focused on urban development, infrastructure, and managed services. With a long history of accomplishing successful projects, they offer a comprehensive range of consulting services across various disciplines.
At present, they are in search of a LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) Specialist to join their energy division. This position will report directly to the Head of the LNG & Power Division. The role necessitates a solid foundation in technical knowledge, entails providing authoritative technical guidance, and involves overseeing the efficient and timely resolution of all technical matters.
about the job
- Provide technical expertise and assistance in the management of key LNG accounts (clients) for conceptualization, feasibility assessments, and FEED studies.
- Take charge of creating and presenting technical reports, harmonize clients with the technical suggestions, and guarantee the conclusive and official completion of technical deliverables.
- Exert a positive impact within a matrix organization through profound technical knowledge and perspective. Partner with both internal and external stakeholders on technical issues to secure a strong standard of quality for deliverables and reports.
- Advise on applicable LNG codes & standards, local regulations, and emerging trends.
- Consistently seek chances for enhancement and strive to provide the utmost quality in consultancy services to clients, while also assisting the department head in achieving this objective.
- Perform LNG market research, develop and compile actionable intelligence and assist clients with development of LNG business plan.
- Review tender (RFP/RFQ) documents, prepare proposals, participate in clarifications meetings, present the proposal contents.
- Offer expert perspective for the development of concepts, process design, and project advancement. Take part in process safety evaluations and play a significant role in identifying and managing risks as a key contributor to risk management strategies.
- Single point responsible person for LNG technical matters, who shall provide strategic inputs on how to grow LNG consulting business.
skills & experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is preferred.
- Minimum fifteen (15) years of related experience in LNG FSRU/FSU, LNG terminal
- design/engineering, LNG storage tank design/engineering, LNG consulting, LNG to power, and other related experience primarily in Energy industry.
- Design, engineering, construction experience with FSRU and/or LNG tanks is added advantage
- Can efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities while working on multiple proposals and projects and meeting tight deadlines.
